New Jerry's Seafood Web site Template. Using a custom template design, from Joe Baray from BHP Concepts, I have made the site dynamic by randoming select picture from an array every time the page loads (PHP is so cool). For some of the code, Please email me. The array is a two-dimensional one, with row with 'Images' and another with associated 'Quotes'. For Info on the site, take a look at http://www.jerrys-seafood.com/new The site has not been made live yet, some info still needs to be added. But you can get a first-hand look at what is going on.

Sky Divided is now official, with http://www.skydivided.com
I went with a more conservative look than the previous one - knowing that the blog and gallery events are going to change, heights will defer from one to another.
Using Photoshop, I made a patterned background then overlayed the tree in the top left corner to add some depth. A hint with using photoshop, making background that are other than a solid color (but not a certain pattern), Just add Noise to the background. It will more than likely look alright when being repeating. (Seen at the bottom on Sky Divided's Page).
The site has a fixed frame, within the Frameset, with Music and Associative Links at the bottom of the site.
Blog & RSS Facebook
2010-04-11 14:23:43
Making a Blog can be simple. I have figured out that with easy access and readability with facebook, twitter, YourBeachLife, any social networking site that display rss feeds, can be incorporated into the blog. Sure, some cannot post pictures (cough Twitter), but the others are good to use. The documentation on the Facebook API is not helpful. Trust me. Through countless hours, I have tried to work with the events_get() method to extract events for a local band, to no success. The only part I have working is the fanbox - Sky Divided's Feed. If anyone knows how to use the events_get() method, without actually logging into facebook!, Please email me. I would be much appreciated. I have made an application website on Facebook now... 3dprog.com widgets
Menu Design for Heritage Shores
2010-04-05 12:19:26
My brother asked me if I could help update the menu for Heritage Shores... Here is the outcome out of the design. To get a better look at the colors, and updates with the menu, go to Heritage Shores in Bridgeville, DE... or email Frank at http://www.cookwithcheffrank.com.
I tried to keep in mind that Heritage Shores is a very regal restaurant and that serves excellent food from the east coast. The pricing is not too noticeable but keeps the customer aware of price in regards to the food.
Making my RSS Feed
2010-03-14 17:58:18
What is an RSS Feed? It is a summary of the website, as a live news feed or a blog, which users can look at glance to see if anything on the website might interest them. It is also becoming popular to subscribe feeds through a program - like one of microsoft's gadgets for the desktop - so you won't have to visit the site.
Certain programs and apps require that it ends with .rss or .xml. I use a php generated rss feed, but I have another copy of it called blog.rss because my Your Beach Life page will not read the php file.
*EDIT - I finally have it working with php, and it works on the ybl site without creating a backup *.rss copy. Utilizing the content-type and the php DOM, it seems to work.
My next step, after I add enough posts is to submit the feed to a couple websites.
The
Buttery Restaurant in Lewes
Nestled in Historic Lewes, Delaware you'll find The Buttery a haven
for inspired food served in a rich, warm and inviting atmosphere. Here,
culinary creation and heavenly flavor mingle to make it one of the beach's
- and Delaware's - favorite dining destinations. Its year round lunch and
dinner service on The Veranda, set within lush garden scenery also makes
The Buttery a Mid-Atlantic Garden of Eden.

Bulletin
Board Based on Geo Location
Using Geolocation Api's, you can find out where the internet user has
originated from (hoping that they don't connect through a proxy).
I took this idea, and applied it to a bulletin board. All you do is submit
a note and it categorizes it based on the City, State.
